"I believe children should learn and grow in an environment that is safe, loving and nurturing. When children feel safe and loved they thrive. They thrive to be the best they can be. They learn to be themselves in a comfortable environment. I believe that children should lead their own learning, we need to follow and teach in the interests of the children. If the children are interested, they will learn more about the theme being taught."

Married to her husband Christian, they have a daughter, Isabelle, son, Bryar and a Black Lab/German Short Hair mix, Hank. In her spare time she enjoys taking walks, hunting, crafting and spending time with family and friends.
